Texas High School Softball - Vista Ridge can't hold off Akins
March 5, 2022: Cedar Park, TX 78613 The Akins Eagles softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Vista Ridge Rangers to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Akins improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Westlake (Austin, TX) to clash with the Chaparrals in a 6A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, March 22. The Chaparrals come into the game with a record of 6-5.
In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 5. Vista Ridge will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Timberwolves come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 18-1 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).
