The Foster Falcons routed the visiting Alief Elsik Rams softball squad by a count of 12-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes go into the 5A Region III District 24 bout with a 2-9 record.

The Rams now possess a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Pearland for a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, March 8. Alief Elsik will confront a Oilers squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Keller (Keller, TX). The Oilers record now stands at 9-7.
