In Saturday's non-league contest, the Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Arroyo Valley Hawks (San Bernardino, CA), by a margin of 11-2.

With the triumph, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The travel to Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Friday, March 11. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 2-3.

In their next game, the Hawks play the Rialto Knights (Rialto, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Arroyo Valley will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 18-4 non-league win over Perris (Perris, CA).
