Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lytle for a 3A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, March 8.
