Texas High School Softball - Lockhart loses to Georgetown
March 5, 2022: Lockhart, TX 78644 The Georgetown Eagles softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Lockhart Lions to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Georgetown improves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Eagles host Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 0-6. Marble Falls lost 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Lake View (San Angelo, TX)
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 game, on Friday, March 11. Lockhart will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX).
