The Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) softball routed the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX), 7-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wolves (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region IV District 30 bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Del Rio held off Cotulla (Cotulla, TX), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
