Alaska High School Basketball - Anna Tobeluk can't hold off Chaputnguak
March 5, 2023: Chefornak, AK 99561 The Chaputnguak Shaman basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Anna Tobeluk Wolves to 49 in the Shaman non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Shaman now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nelson Island for a 1A Alaska Coastal contest on Monday, March 6. Chaputnguak will battle a Islanders team coming off a 90-51 non-league win over Lewis Angapak (Tuntutuliak, AK). The Islanders record now stands at 18-3.
The Wolves (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis Angapak (Tuntutuliak, AK). The Blue Jays enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Lewis Angapak was nudged by Nelson Island (Toksook Bay, AK), 90-51, in a non-league contest.
