Texas High School Softball - Lubbock bounces Estacado
March 5, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79403 The Lubbock Westerners routed the host Estacado Matadors softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Westerners (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Midland Legacy notched a victory over Presidio (Presidio, TX), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
The Matadors now possess a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Denver City for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Estacado will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
