March 5, 2024: Florence, TX 76527 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX) softball team held off the visiting Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Florence moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Buffaloes host Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX) to play the Warriors in a 3A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, March 8. In their next game, the Ducks play the Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 8. Taylor will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX).
