The Bunker Hill Bears baseball squad (Claremont, NC), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC)

With the triumph, Patton moves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to McDowell (Marion, NC) to face the Titans in a non-league game on Friday, March 6. The Titans enter the game with a record of 1-1. McDowell won 19-0 in their recent non-league game against Owen (Black Mountain, NC)

Next, the Bears face the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A game, on Tuesday, March 10. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 8-3 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC).
