Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA), 10-5 in a non-league test.

The Dons now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Marcos for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 10. Cathedral Catholic will play a Knights team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Del Norte drops to 0-2 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 7. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 0-2. Montgomery lost 10-0 in their recent non-league outing against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA)
