Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their baseball team beat the visiting Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), 12-3 in a non-league game.

The Wolves (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Edinburg was overwhelmed by United South (Laredo, TX), 14-6, in a non-league match.

The Panthers now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league game on Friday, March 6. Weslaco will play a Diamondbacks team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Marion (Marion, TX). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 6-2.
