California High School Softball - Poly bounces Sylmar
March 5, 2026: Sun Valley, CA 91352 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the visiting Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), observed Poly's softball team get by Sylmar by a tally of 18-11.
The Parrots (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Cleveland was routed by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 17-12, in a non-league contest.
The Spartans now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arleta for a non-league contest on Monday, March 9. Sylmar will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-13 non-league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
