The Dobson Mustangs softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Apollo Hawks to 4 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Point for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 6. Dobson will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 5-2.

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Jaguars go into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Boulder Creek toppled Westwood (Mesa, AZ), 17-0, in a non-league challenge.
