March 5, 2026: Franklinton, LA 70438 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) and the visiting Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA), observed Franklinton's softball team prevail over Benjamin Franklin by a tally of 20-4.
The Demons (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Northlake Christian was routed by Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA), 9-1, in a non-league contest.
The Falcons now hold a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 9. Benjamin Franklin will battle a Cougars team coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
