The Hernando Leopards the visiting Pasco Pirates softball squad by a count of 12-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Leopards meet the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders (Clearwater, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 9. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Marauders go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL).
