March 5, 2021: Homestead, FL 33030 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the South Dade Buccaneers (Homestead, FL) and the visiting Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL), saw South Dade's baseball squad knock off Palmetto by a count of 5-1.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers play the Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 8. South Dade will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 13-1 league win over Coral Park (Miami, FL).
The Panthers now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Coral Reef for a 7A District 16 battle on Tuesday, March 9. Palmetto will play a Barracudas squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Braddock (Miami, FL). The Barracudas record now stands at 3-4.
