Texas High School Softball - Ferris knocked off by Royse City
March 6, 2021: Ferris, TX 75125 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), by a margin of 10-1.
With the triumph, Royse City moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host North Forney (Forney, TX) to play the Falcons in a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, March 9. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 3-4. North Forney lost 12-4 in their recent non-league contest against Plano East (Plano, TX)
In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 9. Ferris will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
