The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) and the host Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), saw New Hanover's lacrosse team top Swansboro by a margin of 21-11.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick beat White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 12-3, in a non-league challenge.
