The East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS) baseball trounced the host Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), 17-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 7. East Central will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS).
