The Mount Vernon Knights basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the host Elmira Express to 53 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingston for a non-league contest on Friday, March 8. Mount Vernon will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 17-4.
