The Alhambra Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves to 4 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McClintock for a 5A Metro test on Friday, March 7. Alhambra will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Desert Mountain drops to 4-3 on the year. The Wolves host Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Huskies in a 5A East Sky test on Friday, March 7. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 3-3. Horizon lost 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
