Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX), 5-3 in a non-league test.

The Lions now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wilson for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Ennis will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-3 non-league Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Sunset drops to 10-5 on the year. The Bison travel to Wilson (Dallas, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-4. Wilson 3-3 in their recent non-league outing against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX)
