The Jackson Day Mariners baseball squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC)

With the triumph, Mountain Island Charter moves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Raptors host Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to confront the Spartans in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 7. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Community School of Davidson won 6-5 in their recent league contest against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
