Yuma Catholic Shamrocks (Yuma, AZ) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ), 7-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Yuma Catholic moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Benson (Benson, AZ) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 2-6. Benson lost 6-1 in their recent league battle against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ)

Next, the Crusaders face the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Central battle, on Monday, March 10. Northwest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ).
