The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) and the host Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes (Pembroke, GA), observed South Charlotte's basketball team overcome Coastal HomeSchool by a margin of 74-59.

The Thunder (14-19) will now prepare for their challenge against South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Sabres come into the non-league challenge with a 25-9 record. In their last challenge, South Wake defeated Cumberland Christian Home Educators (Somerset, KY), 75-51, in a non-league challenge.
