The Coventry Patriots basketball squad (Coventry, CT), was nudged 63-62 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT)

With the victory, Grasso Tech advances its record to 19-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 23-3. Old Lyme won 56-49 in their recent non-league battle against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT)

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record.
