The Torrey Pines Falcons basketball squad (San Diego, CA), was nudged 44-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA)

With the victory, Mira Costa advances its record to 31-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA) to meet the Sea Hawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. The Sea Hawks enter the battle with a record of 27-5. Redondo Union won 89-66 in their recent non-league battle against Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA)

The Falcons now own a 24-7 record.
