The River Valley Vikings basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Unioto Shermans to 65 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now possess a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Maysville for a non-league game on Sunday, March 9. River Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 74-44 non-league win over New Lexington (New Lexington, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 24-3.

With the loss, Unioto falls to 23-4 on the campaign.
