In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lambert Longhorns lacrosse squad scored a good 18-2 triumph over the Alpharetta Raiders.

The Longhorns (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders go into the 3A Area 5 challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, North Forsyth was overwhelmed by Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA), 19-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Raiders clash with the Baylor Red Raiders (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Alpharetta will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN).
