In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Chapel Hill Tigers lacrosse squad scored a good 17-4 triumph over the Middle Creek Mustangs.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cuthbertson was overwhelmed by Providence Day (Charlotte, NC), 17-4, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Middle Creek will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 18-6 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC).
