The Valor Christian Eagles lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host Cherry Creek Bruins to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to ThunderRidge for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8.

With the loss, Cherry Creek falls to 0-1 on the year. The Bruins host Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to clash with the Gators in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. The Gators go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Sacred Heart Prep won 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA)
