South Carolina High School Soccer - Porter-Gaud knocks off St. James
March 6, 2025: Charleston, SC 29407 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the St. James Sharks.
The Cyclones (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers go into the SCISA AAA Region II outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Northwood Academy was overwhelmed by Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Sharks confront the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, March 11. St. James will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Braves go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
