The Sun Valley Spartans baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Palisades Pumas to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.

The Spartans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Stuart W. Cramer for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Sun Valley will play a Storm team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Storm record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Palisades drops to 2-3 on the year. The Pumas host Berry (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 2-2. Berry lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
