The Southwestern Randolph Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Southwestern Randolph will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, South Stanly drops to 1-3 on the year. The Rowdy rebel bulls travel to Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 7.
