The Sanderson Spartans lacrosse team (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 17-7 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC)

With the victory, Green Hope advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a Southwest Wake battle on Monday, March 10. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Middle Creek lost 14-12 in their recent non-league battle against Christ School (Arden, NC)

The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wake Forest for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Sanderson will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
