Texas High School Softball - Mt. Pleasant bounces New Boston
March 6, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, TX 75456 The Mt. Pleasant Tigers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting New Boston Lions to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nacogdoches for a 5A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, March 7. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Dragons team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, New Boston moves to 5-6 on the season. The Lions host Redwater (Redwater, TX) to confront the Dragons in a 3A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, March 7. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 2-9. Redwater won 6-4 in their recent league battle against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX)
