Mississippi High School Softball - New Albany sneaks past West Union
March 6, 2025: New Albany, MS 38652 The New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) softball nipped the visiting West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS), 7-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Grove for a non-league outing on Friday, March 14. New Albany will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, West Union moves to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 6. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Ingomar lost 18-2 in their recent non-league outing against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS)
