The Midway Panthers baseball squad (Waco, TX), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX)

The Hawks (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against McKinney Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Broncos enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, McKinney Boyd was overwhelmed by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 6. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Raccoons enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to McKinney North (McKinney, TX).
