In Friday's non-league contest, the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) baseball squad walloped the visiting Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX), by a final score of 16-4.

With the triumph, Seguin moves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Cougars host Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Monday, March 9. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 9-3.
