The Grossmont Foothillers the host Central Spartans softball squad by a count of 8-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Foothillers meet the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 7. Grossmont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA).
