In Friday's non-league test, the Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Cowboys clash with the Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Monday, March 9. Cotulla will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Wolves come into the outing with a 8-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX).
