The Scranton Rockets triumphed over the visiting Westside Rebels softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Rockets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booneville for a non-league battle on Monday, March 9. Scranton will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Ozark (Ozark, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Westside moves to 1-2 on the season. The Rebels travel to Waldron (Waldron, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 9.
