March 7, 2022: Weston, FL 33332 The crowd at Monday's non-league game between the Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) and the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL), saw Cypress Bay's lacrosse team top Archbishop McCarthy by a margin of 14-5.
The Lightning (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Stoneman Douglas was overwhelmed by Palm Beach Central (Wellington, FL), 14-13, in a non-league test.
In their next game, the Mavericks face the Park Vista Cobras (Lake Worth, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 8. Archbishop McCarthy will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
