Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA), 28-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Poly for a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 9. Arleta will face a Parrots squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to face the Dons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Dons enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
