Georgia High School Soccer - Crisp County overwhelmed by Columbus
March 7, 2023: Cordele, GA 31015 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) and the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), saw Columbus's soccer squad triumph over Crisp County by a count of 7-0.
The Blue Devils now hold a 10-0 record. They play next when they host Greater Atlanta Christian for a non-league test on Friday, March 10. Columbus will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Crisp County drops to 7-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 1 test on Thursday, March 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4.
