Louisiana High School Softball - Comeaux loses to St. Martinville
March 7, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70508 The St. Martinville Tigers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Comeaux Spartans to 3 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, St. Martinville improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Tigers host Kaplan (Kaplan, LA) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A District 6 game on Thursday, March 9. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 1-0. Kaplan won 14-12 in their recent non-league game against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA)
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Thursday, March 9. Comeaux will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA).
