Louisiana High School Baseball - Destrehan holds off East Ascension
March 7, 2024: Gonzales, LA 70737 Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Destrehan upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Gators come into the test with a record of 9-3. St. Amant won 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA)
With the defeat, East Ascension falls to 8-3 on the season. The Spartans host Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-7. Archbishop Shaw won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA)
