McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), 62-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McBain upgrades its record to 26-2 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Menominee (Menominee, MI) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 20-6. Menominee won 58-37 in their recent non-league bout against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI)
