Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) in a 6A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Alexander will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguar enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA).

The Musketeers now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunwoody for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8.
